always hyped to see one of your videos. also, in german the game will be named "chronicles of imprisonment" translated. "Chronik der Versiegelung". the title makes me think it will be much closer to canon, though i will be cautious.

I'm not a big fan of the Hyrule Warriors games, but I am really looking forward to the lore dumps from Age of Imprisonment, with hopes it fixes many of my frustrations with Tears of the Kingdom. I still haven't even looked through the latest Master Works/Creating a Champion book -- will you have any new theories based on that?

Honestly, I’m surprisingly excited for this’un. I never picked up Calamity past the demo, and in hindsight I think it’s just because BOTW’s past isn’t as compelling as I used to think - very much a side-effect of the time and context the game released in. By comparison, I actually really enjoyed and got into TOTK’s memories and past characters (no doubt because there was an actual running mystery to hook me in), so I’m really pumped to see more of the ancient Royal Family and their interactions/dynamic with Zelda.

NGL I'm kinda glad they are releasing this so I don't feel the urge to buy a switch 2 because a mainline Zelda game would make me want it badly

In light of the annoucement of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, I'm currently hard at work on a detailed video about the Imprisoning War. Which will release next week.
