I think this is an important time for everyone to come together regardless of opinion. Its scary, but if my friends are going to hate me for the things I believe they arent my real friends.

I've been there. It's a difficult balancing act. I value my friendships, but also value the things I stand for. Sometimes those haven't lined up. Sometimes that led to hard choices. I can't tell you what is best for you, but I hope you can find what gives you peace as the outcome. As a fan, and just a fellow human, I'm sorry to hear you are going through this.

It's time to stop biting your tongue. The radicalization that leads to events like this is entirely because people stop talking, or are forced to. "When people stop talking, that's when you get violence."

I know that for the past 9 or 10 years friendships have end because of different opinions and or values that don't aline with one another. But still I believe that even if someone has different views than you there probably not gonna abandon you right away, because they know you as a person and will be willing to hear your side of the argument to try and get a better understanding (unless of course someone says or does something really egregious or unredeemable then yeah maybe at that point it's time to cut ties with them). I hope that makes sense to you. Whatever you decide Omni, im sure your true friends will understand. 🤔🤝❣🫂

During times when major events happen, I see a lot of people talking about it. I usually want to say something as well, but when I see what everyone else is saying, I usually bloody my tongue because I value my friendships over ideologies.
