This is my attempt at a little profile / doc video about an authors life and works.
We filmed this in an abandonned train tunnel ( the same one used in the Alex Garland film, Men ) the same day we shot another video actually inside the tunnel. For this one we set up right by the entrance so we could use some natural light and textures. It was very cold and damp, H.P. would have loved it. For the opening sequence I edited hundreds of images of Lovecraft's face together to make a montage of misery, I think it works rather well.
