Imagine if the BBC brought the broadcasting rights of Thomas & Friends from ITV in 1993, and the forth series was aired in 1996 on Children's BBC Two (even though the forth series was produced in 1994), as well as the fifth series in 1998.

If Thomas DID air on CBeebies in the UK, that would make it four main HiT Entertainment properties associated with the channel (Thomas, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder and Pingu). Though I still find it strange how both Fireman Sam and BTB moved to Milkshake once their CGI revivals kicked in (by which I mean the 2015 BTB reboot, not Ready Steady Build). I would’ve said the same about Angelina Ballerina since The Next Steps aired on Milkshake, but unfortunately I couldn’t as to my knowledge the original series aired on ITV in the UK, a bit like how classic Thomas and TUGS did.

TTTE on CBB and CN?! That’s is crazily interesting! Because when you view CN, you’d expect to see some show that may be attended to younger audiences but contains chaos, extreme and radical moments, and some jokes that may be laughed by adults. But TTTE is the complete opposite of that, but I actually saw the Nitrogen era being aired on CN, only to be find in Japan, for some reason. That interesting to say the least. 🧐

Thomas & Friends was never always on CBeebies. It has always been on Milkshake on Channel 5. And also, Season 5 of Thomas & Friends was never on CBeebies wasn’t it?

You'd think Thomas airing on CBeebies (BBC) would be crazy to think about, right (especially since the failed 1953 adaptation of The Sad Story of Henry)? Well, actually - Series 5 was originally considered to air on that said-channel in the UK instead of Cartoon Network (which would've made it the first season to air on said-channel, even though I never knew too much about it).
However, Thomas did air on CBeebies in a few other countries from what I've read, so it's not too original when you put it into consideration. Plus, even TATMR aired on BBC One in 2 different years (so it's kinda fun to go down that rabbit hole of the different TV channels the show aired over the course of TV history).
