I have heard that putting a special shirt on a dog reduces stress and anxiety. I have also seen something called a happy hoodie. Let’s do our best to show our fur babies that it will all be okay because we love them and we will protect them.

Meanwhile my dogs absolutely love fireworks. Mainly because there is a massive bbq and they get loads of food from my guests.

My town banned fireworks for bonfire night to protect pets but then just had fireworks on another night that are just as loud - how pointless is that? (I live in UK so this holiday above doesn't apply)

Vielleicht hilft es den besonders sicheren Ort, besonders schön zu gestalten? Hier ist es das Arbeitszimmer. Rollladen runter, Körbchen extra auspolstern, Kekse verstecken. Das ist unsere Silvesterroutine.

Cuddle Buddies
Happy Diwali!✨🪔
It is a time filled with lights, laughter, and fireworks - but for pets, those booms and flashes can cause stress.🥺
To help your fur-baby feel safe try these calming tips:
🐾 Bring them indoors and make a “safe zone”.
🐾 Close curtains, turn on
music or the TV to mask the sound.
🐾 Provide distractions: a chew toy or cuddles can help redirect their focus.
🐾 Make sure ID tag + microchip are up to date.
🐾 If your pet is especially anxious, ask your vet about calming aids.
Wishing you a joyful, stress‐free Diwali!🥰🎆
