Do you think Khalid has what it takes to make a comeback?

@eeee8479

I don’t want to be negative, but I kinda don’t see a massive comeback. Even Tinashe’s Nasty couldn’t carry her album cycle.

I fear he was so overexposed in a short period of time that it would take a song to be exceptionally addicting and well selected/crafted for him to blow up again

@twinkincarnate

he first blew up my senior year of high school (2017) and that’s approaching 10 years now, so in this day and age? he definitely needs a massive hit if he wants to be on top again

Khalid actually has some really good songs! I think he can come back. Idk if being a mega star is his thing but he definitely had the ability to drop songs that are gems! He just needs to decide what audience is going to cater to. (IMO) but idk

I also feel like if he did put out a big hit, the spotlight would be just on the hit instead of khalid himself. reminds me of sam smith and the song unholy

I feel like after what we saw last year for people like Sabrina and Charli, I can totally see a big comeback for other talents of the past decade like Khalid. I’m lowkey excited for his upcoming project I don’t know what to expect.

@mg682

I'm noticing a recurring theme with these current artists of the past 10/15 years...

Not trying to sound like a hater but there’s no shot he makes a major comeback. His sound is extremely dated. His music was crafted for that 2016-2017 time period but we’ve all collectively moved on and he hasn’t. His music sounds like 2016 Twitter to me.

in today's music scene, you have to have not just a good song and be a good artist, but you also need to have a unique sound and style as well as unique aesthetics. the music scene needs to NEED the sound and music you make for you to blow up again and stay relevant, instead of just contributing to the quantity of music thats out there.

I think Khalid just needs hits because his talent and songs have never been bad. He just needs a big hit like before

@hazelm3002

He’s young and still relatable to gen z. If he finds the right producer and the right sound , I believe he could

He doesn’t need a comeback tbh he has a diamond single and a cute fanbase

I miss Khalid. When I was introduced to Coaster in 16-17 I was infatuated from there

I love his voice, hopefully he releases something that sticks and jumpstarts the hype around his music... I'm ready for his comeback

This generation complains and hates on all artists especially if they are “trying too hard”. Literally nobody is making it right now. Might as well put out the music you want and say to hell with trying to make it “big”.

I love Khalid. He needs to collab with more DJ. That's where his hits at. Comeback Khalid please.

His voice just feels right. He could feature on a new artist’s song like say Glorilla and then release a new song and he’ll be home again. No one hates him and like I said his voice just feels right. As long as it’s a good or even decent song he could be right back innit
