That must be so frustrating for you and the other authors with the publisher. Hopefully you can get the rights back soon and get the royalties you are owed.

Oh man, that sucks. Hope everything gets resolved soon, legal-wise. Glad I got a copy of the original pressing, maybe it'll be worth 4-6 figures in the future as a collector's item (but I will never sell, nope)

I would never sign the rights away for my own book, predatory publishers prey on small authors in hopes one pops off, then they can just restructure, rename the company and boom, everyone's books are held hostage

Ahem...and did you wave in my direction when you were back here in Canada Raven? Yes, the pandemic did a number on more than one publisher. Are you aware of Mike Farrell from M.A.S.H.? He knew a publisher in New York. QUOTE: "I urge you to reach out to him and tell him that I suggested you do so." (Yes. I sometimes internet hang with Mike Farrell = ) But the pandemic did a number on them too. You sitch is worse, though. Do you have a lawyer working with you?
