Today in the studio, I’m experimenting with a few different pouring mediums to create something truly unique. I begin by taping off a section of the canvas—saving space for a stencil layer later on. Then comes the magic: I pour rich, flowing layers of purple, crimson, and pink, all accented with metallic copper and bronze. As the paint moves and swirls into organic patterns, I add Liquitex acrylic spray paint directly to the surface for added texture and vibrancy. Once dry, I peel back the tape (and yes—it worked!) and finish the piece with a layer of paint through my personal script stencil. It didn’t all go smoothly—I had one pouring medium mishap that nearly derailed the whole painting. But art is all about problem-solving and staying open to the process. Watch how I turn it around and create this luminous, multi-layered abstract artwork.
