Pakka Qila – The Strong Fort of Hyderabad
Pakka Qila, or the “Strong Fort,” is a historic fortress in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. First built during the Mughal era, it was later fortified by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro in the 18th century and served as a strategic stronghold for the Talpur dynasty.

Constructed with solid baked bricks, the fort once symbolized power, governance, and resilience. Over centuries, it has witnessed battles, political uprisings, and cultural transformations.

Today, much of Pakka Qila stands in ruins due to neglect, yet it remains a powerful reminder of Hyderabad’s rich history. Surrounded by a bustling cityscape, it continues to be a landmark of Sindh’s architectural heritage.
