šŸ‘‘ Daniel Day-Lewis is the only actor in history to win three Academy Awards for Best Actor, taking home Oscars for My Left Foot (1989), There Will Be Blood (2007) and Lincoln (2012).

A legendary achievement that deserves more recognition šŸ‘.

@ANGELOFDARKification

Respect to DDL but he should be recognised as a great actor irrespective of Oscars. We know how weirdly political these awards get.

@decade-b1n

He doesn't need Oscar to prove he's great.His work had spoken more than those awards.

@kamuymamushi5877

He should've won another one as Bill "the Butcher" in Gangs of New York

Tom Hanks won back to back, but was also a comedic actor. That's range.

@mikehall7189

Of course, that’s because he’s one of, if not the, best, actors ever.

My favorite thing about him is that he is a great actor and hes not up in everuone else's business. He's just doing his own thing.

I've heard that high praise numerous times. But if somebody asked me, I wouldn't be able to name one of his movies

Daniel Day-Lewis is a funny one for me - personally I don't like any of the films I've seen him in, not even the blockbusters like the aforementioned ones here; despite him being the only common denominator, I don't dislike the films because of him (he's been phenomenal in everything I've seen him in), but rather all the other things going on around him i.e. everything else about those films. šŸ˜‚

@SonRob01

He’s the joint 2nd for most acting Oscars with Frances McDormand and behind Katherine Hepburn

@Leetz88

He's an amazing actor. And who cares about the Oscars anymore? Especially after it was admitted that the voters don't even have to watch the movies
