I consider it a good thing that Titus is back. His appearance alone shows massive character development. From primaris and very much so more decorated armour to the extra service studs, grizzled facial features and scars as well as the chain around his arm with the inquisition symbol on it. Potentially around 200 years have past and Titus looks like he's been through it which I really appreciate. The limited gameplay looks amazing and lord fighting against nids is gonna be awesome

I'll be honest: I'm just happy of seeing him again.

Frankly this is far more tolerable than what was originally planned for Titus. Now we have to see if the game actually holds up.

That moment when you’ve gotten so used to characters being turned primaris that for a moment you think the post is saying Titus has been made gay in some story. Then you realize you need your coffee before facing the day.

*sigh* What J.R.R. Tolkien has been quoted as saying, is true: "Evil cannot create. It can only corrupt what has already been created."

If Angry Marines were canon, their anger would collapse their homeworld in a transwarp singularity of hate, making Khorne running away crying.

They also demoted him to Lieutenant, for the crime of being far too awesome for an Ultramarine.

Kind of interesting to notice from the trailer. He has those chains and markings on his right arm that appear to be markings of former Deathwatch service. The extra service studs tell us 200 years have passed, but most interesting to me is the helmet he had on at the trailers start. It had the stripes and markings of a Primaris Lieutenant, not a Captain. It would seem that Titus was demoted, possibly as a result of the Inquisition's suspicion of him over his apparent immunity to the warp? Maybe he's been clawing his way back up the ranks after a demotion over the last 200 years? we will have to see.

Personally Gamza I don't care that he is a primaris marine. I'm actually interested to see why he decided to become one in the first place. It could raise some interesting plot points in the story

They are hinting at a possibly interesting character arc for Titus, I’m excited for his return and where his story takes us

That's the only thing that I've got a tiny gripe about. We all knew that from now on any 40k marine release be it video game or otherwise is gonna be Primaris... I DO, however, LOVE how dark that intro was. It felt like they are putting themselves on the right track, and I love that they aren't bending over to China Censorship with the gore involved in the trailer

I can't be the only one who doesn't really care that he's Primaris. I'm just glad he's back, and kicking ass!! Primaris, First born, bloody heretic for all I care. Keeping kicking ass Titus you beautiful bastard you!

When Titus was taken away, Cawl was experimenting on Titus to finish the Primaris project. Titus was not a marine that became a Primaris, Primaris are marines that became a Titus

I'm just waiting for Cawl to come out and April Fools everyone with the knowledge he has just been making Thunder Warriors.

He got demoted from a captain to a lieutenant for changing into a Primaris 😂

Just because he's an ultramarine, doesn't make him gay. His inability to start with decent weapons does though

The opportunity to become a primaris would likely be a part of his redemption. Passing the Rubicon may have been a condition for him to return to service. I like primaris and I like first sons, they both have their place and adds a pretty differential to the game.

On the upside, those tyranids looked dope as hell. I love me some space nom nom dino-bugs.

For me, primaris are just a new mark of power armour, vehicles and weapons from cawl, just a new founding to support the Imperium after the fall of Cadia/great rift opening. They need to change up the helmets though, so bland having them all have the same helmet.

Gamza
What a tragedy, Captain Titus has now been ruined and turned into a gay primaris marine. GW continues to ruin characters.
