For the people saying “why isn’t she playing softball”, it’s because she is looking towards her future. Even the lowest paying minor league contracts in baseball are still almost certainly more money than she would ever get playing pro softball. Why shouldn’t she be allowed to try and make the most money possible from the thing she’s good at?

I don’t hate it. If she can hit, run, and field just as good or better than a man then why not. Just treat her the exact same way you would treat a man. My thoughts.

If you read the comments these are reasons why there are leagues just for males and females separately. We are naturally stronger and faster so with all that hard work she’ll end up not making it to the pros and will get beat out by a guy. She should go play softball where she could make a difference not a deficit just to say she’s the first female in a male sport.

Tops out on the mound at 82mph, that is far from D1 talent. Yet to see her hit though as she only has 1 AB, so only time will tell if she is a D1 level hitter.

If their defense is extraordinary and can hit for high RBI, there shouldn’t not be any issue. Honestly should be Allowed in MLB because I can guarantee there are females that can play better than MLB professionals.
