So not content with essentially committing business suicide they are now trying to do damage limitation with outright lies it appears. The shear un-professionalism and bullying tactics they have used against you is shameful but in doing this they have hurt their company far more than any review could ever do. Note to other companies thinking of doing the same thing never ever do this it never ends well.

i’m surprised that they tried to claim apologies were offered in a meeting that never took place. did they think that none of the alleged attendees would contest such an obvious falsehood??

The CEO letter just suggests residual bitterness. It's a 100 line whinge. All he had to do was say "this is not how things should go, we will fix this." Instead it reeks of pettiness and sulky behaviour. My gut feeling is that the Bartok review was just a way to get back at Goldensound, the real gripe was MQA, as that made dCS look like less than technically wonderful when that was holed below the waterline. They also probably lost money on it too. It isn't quite bad enough to be one of those stories told in business schools, but not far off. Instead of using it as an opportunity to look magnanimous and thoughtful, dCS have sullied all their positive reviews because you don't know if they have threatened legal action over any misunderstandings. Sometimes in business you have to bite your tongue and think of reputation and image and not throw your toys out of the pram when someone makes a comment you don't like.

At least you can rest easy that legal action is extremely unlikely now Cameron. I mean it was unlikely they'd have any sort of case but still 👍

They claimed meetings that never took place, and of course they've locked the comments under the post... That's what you do when you've got nothing to hide lmfao

Ahhh so going with the double down. Gooood luck to them. Everyone is on your side, you know, the right side. So keep fighting the good fight, Cameron.

right, of course! bluff called. well done. have you followed the fiasco with Tekton and Erin’s Audio Corner? it’s eerily similar

Finally had been able to read up on the forum notes and man it's BAD. I think I've never seen a worse response from any company in the recent internet year to a negative publicity... Not only they continue to lie about their stance they don't even want to say sorry they lie about saying sorry. Given how tight, and small the audio, and audiophile space is this is actually a company sudoku move. I mean if you don't want to continue your business just close shop don't need to do this

I'm sure they saw the writing on the wall that it was really bad PR for them.

They begin with a lie, already demonstrated before this response. They really should shut up and fix themselves. Then stay quiet for a period of time and hope that people will either forget or stop caring about all of this. Anything else just further damages the business. Go and have a chat with Gerald Ratner, who will likely say the same thing.

When doubling down isn't enough.... full nuclear is the only option. Shame they forgot to launch it first.

They are doing this before any coverage from the really big review channels? Bold move.

What a PR disaster. Much more damage to the brand than one bad review could ever do. I hope they will leave you alone now. All the best.

I find it hilarious that so many commenters here are confusing Prozor and dCS.

There should be a total boycott of dCS reviews on all media platforms until they humbly issue a full apology for their unethical behavior. #boycottdcs

dCS recently posted a response to the video covering the threat of litigation against me. A response to this post is available here: forum.headphones.com/t/dcs-response-and-story/2377…
