The human characters (besides Eggman) are hardly ever the characters we go to when thinking about Sonic, but Maria is definitely one of those exceptions. I’m really happy they’re starting to lean more into the cartoony-anime-ish side with their designs now! Maria looked adorable in Shadow Generations and the style really helped with that.

Judging by design only, I'd pick storm because he has a bit more complex design going on, while maria is just a child, she stilll looks good, adorable, and her clothes are nice, but I think storm is the better looking of the 2

This is a difficult one, but I'm going to have to give it to Maria Robotnik. Storm has a really great design as well, but he didn't really do much besides being a rival to Knuckles and feeling bad for an Eggpawn that was built for racing.

Alright, we don't really know much about Maria other than the fact that she was Shadow's best friend before she was shot down by a G.U.N. solider that we got to see in Sonic X, Storm, despite knowing a lot about as a character, there isn't really much to him besides his strength and loyalty to Jet.

Design wise, I always thought Storm wasn't near either Jet's or Wave's... Storm just feels too Bland-and-Basic. And yes, Maria also has a simple Design, but it's still pretty, while fitting her Character. There's still more to it than Storm at any rate, in my opinion. Plus I like her Colors being Blue and Yellow... Like an indirect way of showing how Sonic & Tails are a good combination. 🙂
