In CA rebar, slump, framing, HVAC, plumbing rough, electrical rough, sheathing nailing, paper & flashing, insulation, drywall nailing, final, and sometimes just for fun they throw in some special ones specific to your project.

My cabin in Maine only requires a septic inspection. And that’s if you go with a septic system.

I live/work in California. You’d be lucky to even get through the permitting process, let alone get through all the inspections.

In my city, framing, electrical, and plumbing are all one inspection.

In Texas you have 3 phases. Pre-pour, pre-drywall and pre-move-in.
