Bioshock Infinite. Some intriguing points, but I was very reserved in my gameplay and by the time things started making sense, my character was being drowned.

Cyberpunk 2077. Once you do some side gigs and jobs, the world really gets fleshed out, but the story feels like it ends prematurely. My favorite verse for video games

The first Alan Wake for me. It had such a unique vibe back in 2010 and I felt that it ended when I was getting hooked.

Halo 2. Anyone who was there remembers the build-up of hype in thst last cutscene, you couldn't wait to play the next mission, but then wham, credits.

Space Marines 2. I was having a blast playing it, and the next thing I knew, the game was over.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 1 for me, it’s so weird how they end it just as Hans is getting the big break he was waiting all game for and Henry’s main villain is practically within reach. Fantastic series though!

Final Fantasy XV, it starts off with a big open world, but becomes way too linear in the 2nd half.

Dead Island 2 hands down. As you are about to enter a massive battle the credits start and when they end you just see the zombies already dead. Also the movie Hellraiser.

Xenoblade Chronicles series. I know what to do but the why dawns on me the last quarter of these games. Still a fun grind.

Playing through Elden Ring atm and I'd be surprised if I fully understood it by the time I'm done with it. I'd say it's almost a more interesting question to ask what game you completed without understanding all the mechanics, seeing as some games never fully explain themselves and you need to look certain things up online instead (Pokémon being an interesting example).
