I love your content and just how real you are. But I do have a question. Why do u have both patreon and yourube members? Does one support you more?

One thing i’ve always loved about you and your content was that it was always authentic and true to your interests and to yourself as a person, which is something that you don’t find or see often nowadays, thanks for always being a role model and prioritising authentic human connection and just people in general over the extreme desire of modern-day corporations to make profit. :3

Here since the first Club Penguin vids and judging by other commenters your hard work inspires many! Also I've probably rewatched the bargain hunt video about 5 times throughout the years, it's just a banger.

i’ve watched your vids for years and one thing i loved about your vids is how much effort is put. they don’t feel like your just making them to get paid but because you enjoy it which makes them so entertaining

I remember watching you when I was a kid and always eagerly awaiting the next video. There was a time I was on vacation in 2018 and when I saw you posted I paid for the Hotel Wi-Fi just so I could watch what you posted. So when you shifted from Animation to your current style video's, it resonated with me and to this day I still watch you because of the passion you have for what you post. Especially considering you stated you enjoy the idea of being an inspiration to others that also just want to make videos: You did that for me! So don't worry too much about commercializing, it's a rabbit hole I entered and exited because I looked at my favorite YouTubers like you, and saw the made whatever they were passionate about. So Thank You, and do not doubt your impact Tamagochi Man. Love ya ❤

OHHH this triggered a thought that I had, and I'm gonna articulate it (rather badly XD) This is a thing that I've been noticing, and I don't like this pattern... In a system of people trying to maximize tangible gain, it isn't as good or fun to chase the tangible as it is to chase it when other people are not. That makes it so it's hard to set something up without tangible metrics or you risk the system. Bad articulation, but I can give examples: If you have a casual running race to incentivize fitness in a small community, it'll be nice - everyone gets together, runs a bit, then enjoy any prize they get. In this situation, if you aim for the prize only, then you get to score the prize everytime, no sweat. Someone sees you do this and provides competition. Someone else does too. Cut to a few more rounds later, the intangible has become invisible - the race is only run by people who exercise all year long, there's no casual environment to it, no one's really being incentivized to get healthier (because it's not "run and you may win", it's "become the best runner and you may win"), and there's no longer such a huge reward to being good (you may win) now as it was earlier (you will win ez). Nice community you have here, would be a shame if I made it unrecognisable by focusing only on the tangibles. I feel the same for soo many things. Games, Sports, and YT too. If I wanna get on YT, I don't need to love the setting, I need to be able to play to the tangibles. Anyways idk why I dumped my thoughts here, but I did cuz the post and the patreon post struck a chord with me. Love the videos man, been watching since the Adobe Flash games videos (RIP), hope you enjoy every day of this process!

Your vids have always been extremely fun, glad I've been subscribed for years. You can tell you make them cause you actually want to instead of profit and I appreciate it a ton, wonder how you didn't hit 1 million subs yet

This post made me realize how much content isn't even made because they enjoy it but rather from the incentive to make it big

I got to know your channel through the Club Penguin videos you made, alongside the original video about Captchas. Your videos feel like they stem from thoughts and things you find interesting, things worth talking about for fun. I aspire to have videos with that mindset at some point (I have the ideas, but wondering how to execute them...). Longer thoughts on the Patreon post's topic: I have always stated to myself, "monetization kills creativity". Money can be an encouraging motive, but it can also devolve into something monstrous, such as overworking oneself. Then there are people who only see creative outlets as potential money generators, nothing else: AI slop channels are a good example of this. In terms of my hobbies, alongside making art, I make music. Within music, I benefit better from doing albums without a set theme, doing what I like. The moment I think and err at the thought of pleasing "everybody", I don't enjoy making music.

I don't watch gameplays nowadays, but I stick around cause you've got that sauce you know. It's always great to see someone making "content" to bring joy to themselves and others, despite all the incentives to feed the attention capital machine
