Did you know that Yeshua (Jesus) celebrated the biblical holidays? β¨ The first holiday of the Fall celebrations is called Yom Teruah π―
The command to keep Yom Teruah can be found in Numbers 29:1-5: βOn the first day of the seventh month, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. It is a day for you to sound the trumpets.β (Numbers 29:1)
Yom Teruah is a day of celebration and blowing shofars/trumpets. πΊ Some celebrate by giving gifts and sharing a big, festive meal with family. π½οΈπ
Many also believe this feast points prophetically to the resurrection of the dead in Christ and the rapture of the saints. π
Yeshua observed this day when He walked the earth β and I believe we should too. We know He was without sin, so if we follow His example, we cannot go wrong. ποΈ
