I lost my dad a couple of months ago as well. My brother found him, he also passed in his sleep. Nothing prepares you for the shock, and nothing really seems real for a while. The grief comes in waves, you'll hear something or think of something that reminds you of him randomly and it cuts like a knife. I'm sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad! I knew him personally as I worked with him at Amazon. He is also how I found your YouTube channel. Condolences. My best friend mom just passed the weekend before thanksgiving. Been calling her mom since 1993. His mom and mine were also great friends. It's tough. Take the time you need and spend the time with the family. Hopefully your spirits are full of great memories and stories.

On December 2nd at 7:55am I was woken up by a frantic phone call from my mom. My Dad passed away in his sleep. I live next door and rushed over. My Mom babysits both of my nieces 2-3 times a week. She got back home from dropping the oldest off at Pre-K and found him. My Dad was only 65….
The night prior, we were watching TV and joking around, he seemed fine. He went through a lot of health issues all of his life but always persevered. I am grateful for the time I got to have with him in my life. The hardest part is that he won't get to watch his two young Granddaughters grow up.
I plan on uploading 1 or 2 compilation videos soon. After that, I'll be taking a break for the foreseeable future. My main objective right now is to make sure my mom isn't alone and to find my peace with what transpired. Thank you all for your time, and I hope to post new videos sometime down the road.
Also, PLEASE call and tell your parents you love them, we never know how much time any of us have left!
