Eastory

It seems that WW2 operations in Ukraine are still relevant today.
You know what that means.
Stay tuned...

Been waiting for a side by side for weeks. Astounding historical parallels.

History doesn't repeat, but geography sure does

History doesn’t repeat, but it very often rhymes.

@AlexN996

Geographical realities are still there so of course they’d influence the battlefield in similar ways.

@davidlindsey6111

There’s been several battles like this. At first I thought it was deliberate but it seems like the geography has a big effect on these battles making them nearly identical with historical battles

@ludvigmartinelle4780

I think it’s sad that these areas experienced the worst war in history and not even 100 years later there is another in the exact same places

I was thinking about that watching Eastern Front animated 🤣

@tylermorrison420

Seems interesting that the more direct route was taken in the 40s it seems to me that the off road capabilities of vehicles have contributed to this more then anything else however it does make me curious to think about

Hi Eastory, I sent an email to you over a possible Korean War idea few weeks ago. Was hoping to help on the video project if you're ever planning to do one on Korea. Cheers

Big difference: In 1942 the majority of the worlds economy was standing behind the right side. In 2022 it is standing behind the left side.

The differences are the way. The movements are for example 1942. It is longer more stretched out. I think approximately 3 miles it would take an entire army probably a week to finish that first they would attack from the south to stop enemy advances and then from the north to catch them off guard Once we surround one battalion or division, we would take them out then you would send another force from the already experienced army to lunch and attack and keep them away from splitting this siege while the 2022 one is shorter approximately I believe 2 km maybe 5 km. I’m not sure But this one uses the same tactic just on a different level. They still first attack from the south to block enemy reinforcements from coming in then we use another strategy to take them out and push them back and make a schedule remaining some soldiers and then we send other soldiers to attack the north, which I am still talking about, but it’s less fat it’s less lower, which makes it more efficient
