I think he’s useful for mid to end game if you don’t have a ton of meta champs especially when polymorph is nerfed . His skill can make duchess revive almost useless as its only powerful because of the veils which will be stripped by him each time she revives

The response from community and lack of trust its WELL DESERVED. They worked for it hard for a long time. You reap what you... Yeah, buff is a good thing. But you need a win streak of good deeds to win community back.

I was going to skip, but I’ve been doing nearly every fusion anyway and I’m happy I decided to for Ugir in the end (my only skip this year was Loriaca). I may not pull his fragments or ever really use him since he isn’t game-changing for my account, but this is a gacha game after all and I’m here because I like to collect the champs!

Had Plarium made this change at the onset of the fusion, more players would have gone for Ugir (myself included). Plarium had the feedback from the test server.

Announcing a buff to a fusion champion, mid event and past the point of no return (as is the case here) merits at minimum announcing a summon event on the backend to make up the frags missed during the summon rush and really, should just award whatever frags have not been earned until now to everyone. #NDD

Nub had the perfect chart for it for buffs and nerfs. The announcement was poorly timed I think - because they were responding to feedback and if it was a money grab, they'd also announce a catch up summoning event, I think. That said, I don't regret my skip

Feeling a smidge under the weather today, so apologies for no video.
Did want to comment briefly on the latest news about Ugir's passive being more effective, as I know a lot of folks will go into conspiracy mode with this: Sometimes it just happens that fixing one thing changes another, for good or bad, and the timing of it is incidental. IF this was a concerted effort to garner more action in the fusion or to sell more frags they would've told us this WAY sooner, not halfway through the fusion event. Besides, it was in there interest to let us know before the fusion went live so our reviews would have been more positive. There are things to criticize raid for, im not sure this is one of them...
However, this doesn't change my overall assessment of the champion or the fusion. The champion's passive is still too mild imo and will need a buff in the future. This does lend some support to using stun/sleep/provoke sets on Ugir and potentially having some increased success there. However fundamental lack of Crowd Control on the a2 or TM skills on the a3 keeps him from being a powerful aid in the current meta in my opinion. Useful? Sure, but as consitituted is fairly underwhelming. That's not taking into account the fusion schedule, which honestly makes it an auto-pass for me as well.
But as always, it's just my opinion and my default stance is a free leggo is better than no leggo...best of luck raiders!
(oh and the screen shot below is of the announcement on discord about Ugir)
