I changed the graphics on the channel to incorporate mention of our community and clarify the mission. Also I wanted to return to a more thrash punk rock DIY esthetic. Originally, I wanted as much handwritten text and hand drawn work as possible. And I love zine style meets radio and TV. Like torn pages and static grunge. But some critics told me it made me look less legit or something.
These days, with everyone using AI and everyone's thumbnails looking the same and all the media companies owned by three corporations, I think it's more important than ever to do as much to push back against the homogenization of culture... even if it's just a youtube channel.
