WesHammer

You might have noticed my uploads have slowed down a bit. I'm taking some time off to focus on mental health and getting my house back. It's been some 8 months since I lost it to a flood and have spent the entirety of that time living out of a single room. Not going to lie things got pretty bad behind the scenes. Dealt with a lot of anxiety, depression, and feelings of helplessness, seemingly constant all nighters, and 80-90 hour work weeks with few if any days off. I'm doing a lot better now. Back to the gym and in therapy.

I might make a video on everything that went down someday but I don't think that would be helpful and I am not the type of person who likes bumming others out with my personal struggles. This channel is a celebration of Warhammer and it's Rich Lore, not a place for me too vent. Just know that me and my wife are safe and hopefully this hellish period Of our life will be over in a month or two. Looks like we are in the final stretch and I want to take time to make sure that goes smoothly.

Thanks for understanding and for all your continued support.

@Wabaloo

Dude Warhammer will always be here. No AI slop channel will ever come close to the content you put out. You are truly a great creator in the entirety of Lore Youtube. From Lord of the rings to Elder scrolls to whatever nerdy shit you want to know more about. You are one of the best. We'll be here when you drop another banger of knowledge I'm too lazy to get for myself. Much love I hope life's pains are bearable soon enough.

A lot of us are here because we are going to the tough times as well. You have supported many and you have the support of the community here. Thank you for sharing a vulnerable and human side 🙏. Honestly real life is more terrifying than the grimdark and I enjoy it here because it makes more sense than my anxiety and troubles. Be well and take the space and time you need to take care of yourself. love ya brother

I think it's worth acknowledging that while you see this channel as a celebration of 40k and it's rich lore - to us as the audience, you are the other key half of what defines the channel! It's WesHammer for a reason brother

Stay strong brother I understand those feelings especially dealing with the whole home situation. Just gotta keep reminding yourself 1 step at a time to get back into that rythem .

You were mostly my introduction into warhammer 40k. Love the lore. The grimdark absurdity entertains the macabre writer in me. Do what you need to do, my friend. We’ll be here waiting for you. May the emperors light shine upon you brother!

I've always recommended your channel to new players that want to learn about Warhammer and it's lore. Today, I start session 0 for my 5E Rogue Trader game. I'll be sending each of them your way for information and fun. All of that to say, you're highly valued, we all appreciate your content, and I hope everything gets better for you soon. You're an amazing creator and seem like a really cool dude, so I wish you the best. No matter if you post 1 video a day or a year, I'll be here watching and re-watching your videos and dragging new players into the grim dark lore for years to come. I hope you get everything figured out, and if you need help, don't feel bad about asking/linking Patreon or whatever else. We all have dark times, but if we stand together, we can't fall too far. Appreciate you.

Honestly I completely can relate to those feelings you have living out of a single room. I lived out of a single room and it was horrible. Hopefully things get better man!

You were my entry point into Warhammer, which has given me dozens of hours of fun and happiness. The care and love you've put into your videos and this community shows a passion that is rare to come across. which in turn makes me even more interested in your work. I only pray that the same positivity you've put into this world finds it way back around into your life. You're doing great! stay healthy, stay strong and we will see you whenever the time is right, for you!

Self care is the best care. Coming out like this and being matter of fact about the struggle has my respect.

Warhammer 40k is something that holds a lot of personal significance for me because it helped me forget about anxiety/depression stuff for a while, and you were one of the channels I would watch from when I started getting into this universe till now. Much love I hope you continue to take care of yourself

Never feel bad about taking some time! The best thing about your content is that it's evergreen, and you've got one hell of a back catalogue to catch up on while we wait for more stuff. Glad to hear you're getting back on track personally!

No shame in taking a slice out for yourself brother. I really just watch your videos to unplug from the news cycle. You’ve helped me out a lot, and I really appreciate your enthusiasm and positivity. Keep your head up man. Much love ✊

Take care of yourself, Wes! You reignited my interest in Warhammer when I was in a similar situation back in October, I sat and binge watched pretty much your entire channel for days at a time!

As a fellow bay area resident, I completely feel yuh. I was fortunate enough to not have much happen to my home but I do know people who weren't so lucky. Please, vent away, brother. And take your time.
