Ironic, I am looking for a new Sim Seat, I have a crap seat, An is put off by the cost of the Sim racing seats, The prices have done my head in if I am honest, You can buy an half decent round tubing Sim Rig with the seat for nearly if not the same prices as some of the sim seats alone, I am using a HF8, Brilliant tool the HF8 is, I have to turn the HF8 on every time now, I do VR Sim racing in AMS 2 with a Quest 3, I have an i5 12600k an a 12gb 5070 that seems to go pretty well with the Quest 3 an Sim Racing, Even Car X is pretty good with the 5070, I seen the 5070 have dropped in price as well, But yeah I am currently looking for a Sim racing seat, I can't do longer than an hour with the Seat I have at the moment, Brutal, I had to put a little hardish flat cushion on my seat, The HF8 still works, So as long as this seat is not crazy soft the HF8 will work as intended, I love how the HF8 can give you a speed wobble effect at high speeds, It is actually uncanny how effective the HF8 is from Next Level, I wish I got the HF8 Pro now knowing the motors in the HF8 Pro are more powerful, Still though I am happy as Larry with the HF8, I just needs a decent bucket type seat now, I gets me down seeing the prices of a Sim racing seat, An seeing the prices of a Sim Racing Rig that got a Seat included, lol, I was wondering if I should just get a new Sim racing rig just so I can have a new sim racing seat, lol, No I just needs a seat, I am happy with my rig, I am doing VR sim racing, As long as it looks like a Sim rig, An acts like a Sim rig, lol, Same as the wheels, I still not bothered with a fancy wheel that lights up coz I only does VR sim racing, After doing VR, I still struggle to understand why people still use monitors, lol, But then I have not tried a triple screen set up, Still though being inside the actual race car will allow you to be faster, The corners are more realistic, Plus VR will make you a better driver, Or it has with me..... Yeah I will be ordering a new Sim racing seat in the next few days or week, I am hunting for the nice seat for the cheapest prices, lol, I think I am getting a Next Level seat though, I think it was 190 pounds for the cheapest Next Level seat, So it will probably be that....... Maybe Sim racing companies who does wheels should start doing seats as well, More competition will create cheaper prices, Thrustmaster an Logitech should make a Sim Racing Seat, lol..............
