By focusing too much on looking a part, such as stereotypical "masculinity" - you lose your sense of humanity

- ItsSimplyAless

Just thought of this quote after watching the first claim on the recent Jubilee video with Piers Morgan. Human qualities like kindness, creativity, vulnerability, gentleness, intelligence aren’t gendered. Hyper-focusing on labels can make you forget the fuller, richer aspects of being human.

In other words, when you're too focused on how other people are going to perceive you, especially if you're trying to look tougher or 'manlier' you could lose that kindness and vulnerability which I think is an important part of the human experience.

I personally look at it this way: I have a duty to God and my ancestors to be as successful and masculine and pure as I can so I have to do that. As for the specifics, I don't do what feels natural or this fake bs of "being yourself". Instead I picture the man I'd dream to be. I imagine his every minor detail. And then I copy that image. Be what you are supposed to be and what you want to be. Not what feels natural. Feelings are valid and real. But often in the real world feelimgs are massively unreliable and untrustworthy. Live by principle not feeling.
