Damn. I can feel this. That happened on my first solo tarp camp in winter. Got back and mic was off for most of it. I managed to salvage something with music overlays... I guess I don't have to tell you how I felt when I got home and checked my footage.

Been saved by the Mic 2 internal back up several times. But know the feeling when you realize it went wrong. I’m sure it’ll be great and interested in your thoughts n the FX2.

Oh man, what a drag! Don't feel bad about it. I have my own "Doh!" experience. During the lockdown, I taught all 5 of my classes over Zoom, for a weekly total of 6 hours of lecture, 6 hours of lab. One lab activity had a lot of details, so I recorded a demo of it for students. I was to intro the lab topic live on Zoom and walk them though the lab procedure so they could do the lab at home. The recorded how-to video would allow them to watch it at their own pace and play, pause, repeat parts, etc., as needed. Well, that was the plan. I recorded the how-to without students, which took 1.5 hours. Right after I finished, I noticed that I had failed to start the recording! I took a much-needed break, then recorded it all over again. Doh!
