China is beautiful. But we need to be independent and we need to be pro American. Which means pay more for American made. But if its taxed in America , in theory you'd be able to buy things for a lower cost if we can source materials from the country more. We have oil, we can sell our oil and use it until solar and electric and hydrogen take over. Which will happen soon. We can hire more people and teach trades how to build and create whatever tf it is the manufacturers need to be done

Take my work boots for example, a hardly known small company in 🇿🇦, handmade once you order, paid the equivalent of $96 three and a half years ago, i wear em everyday come rain or shine, goodyear welt, lovely soft leather thats bedded down around my feet and ankles and in no danger of needing any kind of repair or replacement any time soon. When the USA starts making those old proper Levis again, im gonna buy, cos those were worth every cent. Other than that its unbranded Tshirts from my local construction clothing supplier. What i dont skimp on is coffee and tobacco, mmm mmm mmm m mm
