Hey I guys I hear your feedback and I agree with your constructive criticism about the last episode. I connected with ‪@willyOAM‬ an outstanding military analyst, Afghanistan veteran and war correspondent to get a more full picture of Russian strategy. I'm going to create an updated video that gives more weight and consideration to the goals of an attrition war.
I'm going to go more in depth on how Russian forces do not need to advance far they just are trying to bleed Ukraine dry, they're trying to kill enough people that the front collapses.
I still stand on business about everything I said, nothing was factually incorrect but I do feel there were some important aspects I left out.
My intention with the video was to talk about how even Russia captured all the way to the Dnipro it would still be a failure based on how many soldiers and equipment they are losing and that their tactics are inefficient even if they continue advancing. I used the word "breakthrough" instead of "collapse" and that distinction is actually a big difference and wasn't effective communicating on my part!
but I'm human and sometimes I communicate poorly and miss things. That's what I love about Youtube though is I can connect with someone all the way around the world who knows things I do not and I can learn and get a better understanding of what's really happening, which has always been my goal with this channel. much love guys.
