As a white man I can only say that it is a shame that JHud was snubbed this way. I love Jenny since 2004 and listen to her daily, she is one of the best vocalist of this era (the very best for me). Also, she was acting in RESPECT phenomenally, it was just freaking good. The movie is not even under the Top 5 for the best original (Here I am) which is another disaster!!! Unbelievable Academy…look atbthe horrible Spencer Movie an Kristen Stewart acting in a very moderate way to be kind. Anyway, JHud doesn‘t need these fools, she keeps on making her way, we love her so much ❣️🔥💕💕

The show is a relic. I never subscribe to the idea that this all white academy should judge the quality and excellence of Black Filmmakers. We do not need their approval for validation.
