The number one complaint from players since 2016 has been a lack of content in the game.. What do you tell players who quit the game and returned 5-7 years later, only to find the game with less content?

What is the plan to improve new player experience. Currently they join the game in a port with a ship and no real direction on where to go what to do. Some don’t even know where to find tutorials. There is noting telling them how to fit their ship what consumables are needed and how much.

First of all thank you Enigma for your efforts, what you are doing is important for the game and community. 1. The frequency of updates has decreased significantly, why? It will be always like that now? 2. To develop Naval Action you need income, do you have enough money from DLC sales for this? If not then maybe you should think about adding something else for example more detailed ship customization, more skins, skins for sails (no anime) or something else. 3. What are your plans about NA in general? Do you plan to develop it slowly so it could take even few years before all changes will be finally implemented? You said that its 10 years old game and you bought it out because they wanted to close it this spring. Do you think it was right decision? What now? 4. Online dropped below your expected target, what is your thoughts about that? Do you still think that new crafting system and increased grind was right idea? What do you think about the fact that while playing this game players often do other things, for example watching youtube because transporting goods is boring? If answer is "Its ok, some will find it relaxing some boring so some stay and others leave and we accept it" then wouldnt it be better to make hauling and open world gameplay more entertaining to keep more players? 5. Do you consider(even a little bit) to open 3rd server with 2019-2021 gameplay mechanics? Steam stats shows that those years had high and stable online. There is reason to believe that this could bring success and it could be good base for further development. Launch and peak online at around 1500 proved that people are still interested in this game, with right decisions its possible to get them back. 6. How do you deal with stress in your life, is there something that helps you to manage it? Good luck on the interview! When it will be btw?

What is their vision for the game going onwards? Why has there been so many turnarounds regarding content that has been removed (fishing, kill missions, ship wrecks etc)? What was the reason to add game assets as dlc that were obviously an advantage to own considering you wouldnt have to bother about crafting or managing your port storage?

1. I am not gonna criticize the game, but the online player count is typically the best measurement of success and it just dropped like a rock. What did go wrong? Question to the dev. 2. How do you split development time (in %) between Naval Action and Sea Legends? Is it efficient and smart for 2-3 developers to work on 2 games at the same time? It seems like one game clearly needs more attention and it's either NA or else it's gonna die or Sea Legends - since it's few years behind the promised release schedule. 3. Why are you trying to push 1 huge patch now, instead of sticking to small updates like you used to at the start? We're promised now mainly 3 big things, the warehouse, PvP rewards and sailing profile changes. You want to push all of it in one big update, as I understand? Why not small, frequent updates to keep players interested and in the loop of active development. Is it because of coming Steam Summer Sale, so hence big online = big news + DLCs on sale = big profit?

ask him why he values his own opinion over others when he hardly plays the game. and why he makes such drastic balance decisions so frequently on a whim

My question would be : Is there any visual and sound improvements scheduled ? I mean better graphics, effects and sounds that would improve the immersion ? At least in combat mode. So the game could meet today’s standard. Second question would be : will they add more boats into the game ? If yes, how soon, how many, what kind ?

I played for years, but can't anymore because I didn't have time for the grind just for ammunition. I've spent close to $150 in DLCs in previous years, so I'd love to come back. But not if I have to grind hours just to have ammunition for a single actual flight. That's not a game. That's a job.

Q: It seems amoungst the player population agreed that 2021 version of the game was the most popular and enjoyable to play, is there any reason we are unable to go to that version even if the rare woods are removed, and how does the dev's vision compare moving forward, as currently it has met largely with much negativity and detaste, what can the devs do to turn things around, a roadmap, new map (the Med, English channel, new ships, new crafting or bring back the old farms).

Although I’m past it now, the early game grind is too severe. If I didn’t have a friend already in the game I wouldn’t have kept with it.

Are they planning on adding more CLAN mechanics? Apart from port management and Clan warehouse.

I am a new player at level 5 with just over 70 hours on the game, I have enjoyed this game thoroughly. The grind hasn’t been unbearable. I would ask if they plan to add an American side to the game ? And I would like to see the ships you are battling “strike their colors” when they surrender. That would allow you to possibly batter a ship into submission instead of sinking it entirely.

Right now the game lacks content, lacks things to do. Are they planning on adding things a player can do alone or with a group of friends? Even old group kill missions, or plain kill missions would be nice additions.

What's the plan for the economy? will we see better options for people who want to play the trade game? will we see some sort of return of the old system? Surely the current system can't be the final form? will we ever see any sort of road map for the future? it doesn't have to be concrete but an idea of some things maybe in the works or are otherwise planned could help people stay engaged in hopes to see what the future holds instead of abandoning the game within a month.

Epic events events are few and far between. I have spent a few hours looking for them as I would like to craft better ships with rare woods and let's face it. You have no chance if your in a small Clan getting in a port battle as the bigger clans have a lot better ships. So I have a few questions. Will there be more epic events in the open seas? At any point will they reintroduce group hunter kill missions? Will there be a steam sale on DLC ships? I have my eye on a few. But the prices are quite steep.

Can you ask about the plans for Sea Legends which was supposed to be a first person version of the game?

How are they gonna adress alts flooding the market with buy contracts for basic resources? Often I see 3-5 contracts in the production port from the same guy (very obvious alts, basically the same nick with some minor varation).

Ask for plans on balances regarding the early game grind and the balancing on charged shot, those are major complaints Ask for the content that seems to have been removed for absolutely 0 reason since by what people say of it, these didnt break the game in any aspect, only gave a bit more variety to it i'd like that he talk about wipes, even tho he said that "there will be no more wipes" most of the player base seems to not 100% trust this and when i asked about it when i returned to the game, they didnt confirm that but let the impression that "no more wipes" has already been something said before that got "unsaid", usually when i play a game i dislike being forced to have my progress wiped, so before i really start pumping hours into this game, i'd like to have any kind of information on this

Will the Americans and Dutch come back ? If not, will their DLC flags be integrated into other nations ?

I will be interviewing the Naval Action developer, if you have any questions please add them here and I will try to work them in.
