At least Hindus acknowledged that problem and a Hindu was the first person to raise voice against sati pratha. And to be honest it was never part of our religion. No Ved or Puran said that widows should be burned. I don't know why these people think that everyone who is talking against Islam is Hindu😂

Sati Pratha was started as a consequence of Islamic invasion for the sake of saving a woman’s chastity. There is no reference of any sort in Sanathan scriptures about burning a widow! Islamic liars!! Dowry was a standard practice which came from western civilisation. We only had gifts from the woman’s family as blessings. Later on it changed into money!!

Come take the hand of this man from among the living who offers to take your hand and maintain you, and live in consort with this other and new husband of yours for a lifetime -Rig Veda 10.18.8.
