So I just wanted to take a moment to talk about the super lengthy Thief videos I just put up. I don't expect them to be popular or anything, since they're a rather old game from 1999 (with "The Black Parade" being a mod from 2023).
These were full playthroughs I had on my second channel. I was a lot more relaxed and didn't bother making many cuts as the channel was an excuse to play the games I wanted to play, how I wanted to play them.. the intention was to create content without adding time to my already busy schedule, so it was a more "classic let's play" without much edits.
What I didn't count on was just how restrictive YouTube has gotten with regards to new channels.. it was VERY difficult to manage the YouTube side of things because a lot of core features I'm used to on this platform are locked for channels with low subscribers.
In the end I decided to abandon the second channel, but I didn't want the few videos on it to go to waste, so I decided to splice the entire playthrough into one long video and just upload it here to the main channel. I'm sure it's gonna be terrible for my analytics, but ehhh..... screw YouTube analytics.
If you're even remotely interested in stealth games, I would recommend my Thief: The Black Parade playthrough, as Thief Gold isn't bad, but the game is.. well.. old. Black Parade however is a free mod made in 2023 and is honestly some of the best stealth levels I've ever experienced in a game in terms of pacing and secrets to discover.
