Going with the probability is higher with a black camera. I own cameras in silver and in black. Black definitely is hotter to touch but not to point of overheating

Black could be hotter not only due to worse dissipation, but also to absorbing more solar heat radiation if working outside in sunlight.

I think it’s fairly the same A bit of the color body plays but I think it depends on the metal it’s made out of. My XT2 gets hot over here in Texas than my other friend who owns a M50. Thank god for no overheating lol.
