Damn, I got it wrong - given your love of leeks, I should've been able to guess this! 😂

My husband has some type of intolerance for onions and slightly to garlic. But not to leeks. So we grow hundreds of leeks and elephant garlic to use instead of onions and garlic

Elephant garlic is also better for very warm, tropical climates.

About £1.50 per clove. 😉

Elephant garlic isn't really garlic? Is that the answer? It certainly doesn't perform like garlic on the stove.

I harvested elephant garlic this year. Unfortunately I don't like the taste. There is nearly no garlic flavour. Now I have the huge bulbs and don't know what to do with them.
