i think i see what wwe is trying to do. they're trying to get rid of being seen as "fake fighting" so the more common person can see how much of a show it actually is to bring in a lot more fans.

WWE documentaries, autobiographies they've shilled has broken kayfabe. I don't see why everybody is up in arms over the show

Honestly I like this documentary since it's gonna be far more interesting than any of the product WWE is currently putting out

I remember seeing those VHS documentaries about guys like Sting back in the day, and it broke some of that character mystique and lure into the lore, but it added appreciation for the man behind the paint.

As someone that wants to be apart of the business some day I think the show is pretty awesome it's fun to see how it's all put together and see how the wrestlers interact with each other it very eye opening and shows you what your in for and what to look forward to

The first title isn’t interesting for one reason: It will survive because kids won’t know any different. At least the attitude era was revolutionary for letting the fans in a little. Gone too far with the internet and now WWE is predictable just because of how they build a match

@Mariobacuno528estupido

I remember wwe having shows around the early 2000s that kinda broke kayfabe, one example is "wwe confidential"

@pembatamang8233

Wwe is thriving without kayfabe. The votes seem to coming from 🇺

Just watch the documentary, the same way as you were watching a behind the scenes from your favorite movie. Kayfabe died a long time ago, probably since the internet, social media and the people predicting storylines.

Kayfabe died in the 1930s. If you honestly believed wrestling was real, that’s on your parents. My ma told me Ric Flair was fake. I replied so it’s Sam Malone. 🤷

Bro just did this poll just to post the video with none of these options being the title of the video. Foh.

Kayfabe died when Frank gotch and the promoter screwed over george hackensmidt and people realised it was fake, it wasn't national or popular again until gimmick wrestling in the 40s, maybe a few territories could get away with it but by the 80s and Hogan there's no going back, and then now there's ufc too, showing a real fight is generally not long. You probably widen your audience by admitting this is sort of a sports drama. No one except for young children is going to think it is real. With the skewing you actually have people frowning on it.

Imagine watching a movie and being told over and over by the actors staring dead at the camera and saying "By the way fans, this is fake. We at XYZ productions are a family. Stay tuned for when I shoot my good friend Christian Bale after intermission. It's gonna be a crazy scene. We trained really hard to make it look real. Christian is such a good actor and plays the role of the villian perfectly" Stop the press conferences unless they are done in character and used to advance storylines. Stop the behind the scenes reveals and keep them to a minimum. We know it's fake and that everyone works together to build the final product. Can you stop bashing that fact over our heads and allow us to immerse ourslves in the on-screen product with at least some suspension of disbelief?
