In his Farewell Sermon, the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: "O mankind, indeed your Lord is one, and indeed your father is one. Behold, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab over an Arab, nor a red person over a black person, nor a black person over a red person, except by piety (taqwa). Indeed, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you." And prophet also said in another hadith: "If knowledge were in Thurayya (the Pleiades), men from Persia would surely attain it."
