I have ptsd from narcissistic abuse from age 19-32 ..I lost my self identity and self worth in totality. I was about a year out of that relationship when I started yoga..which lead to yoga nidra as Iโd been doing guided meditations as well- suggested blessed me with your gift. Yoga nidra has helped me in regaining the clarity of my true identity. Just knowing that I have the tools regulate my nervous system when having triggering days has SQUASHED anxiety for me. - now my triggers have turned to healing, as Iโm unraveling their origins and processing them as paradigm shifts instead of causing me to completely spiral out of control. My emotional regulation before was thru substance abuse- as many do, but this practice has taken a huge part in nixing that coping mechanism! Thank you ally! I finally have my own sankulpa! โI am the living answered prayers of- not only my past self, but my entire bloodlineโ THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING and I suggest u to anyone I sense needs it!

I have been listening to you for almost a year nightly to go to sleep. I am sleeping without any sleep aids most evenings. I personally would LOVE MORE SLEEP meditations. I also recommend you to all of my coaching clients that are having issues with being present and settled๐๐ป Thank you for all that you do

Started yoga nidra to heal my brain after a nervous breakdown and acute traumatizing insomnia. Something about the way the practice "closes the tabs" in my anxious, racing brain has unconsciously seeped into my very being. I don't do yoga nidra FOR sleep or even before bedtime, rather, at the end of each work day in order to get off the roller coaster of the day. The state between wakefulness and sleep is like being high. The breath visualizations help me the most, and I carry those particularly into my night time when I ever have trouble sleeping again. Truly, this practice has saved my life. ๐๐ป

Daily sessions with your recordings, usually the shorter ones from 10min to 30min, calms my nervous system and enables me to let go of the need to understand and control everything, as was my method of feeling secure before I found your magical remedy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your gift of healing ๐๐๐ (65yrs diagnosed with PTSD and AD

without entering into details, I'll just say that deep rest lowers dramatically sensitivity to triggers, irritability, and over sensitivity to outter noises from the world. My PTSD is from a sexual assault inside the home I was raised in, as a young child to immigrant mom.

Iโve had a daily yoga nidra practice for almost 5 years. When I started, I was profoundly dysregulated from childhood trauma and a lifetime of narcissistic abuse by family members, friends and partners. It was difficult for me to leave the house or do simple tasks like go grocery shopping. I was alone with no community or friends. Five years later, I am calm and centered. I have a beautiful circle of friends. Iโm a leader in my community. Iโm active, fit and live a busy life full of fun and travel. Iโm planning my retirement which will include focus on my spiritual life, physical health, and seeing more of the world through solo travel. Yoga nidra began as a way to regulate my nervous system and it turned into a spiritual practice and a method for improving my relationship with myself and my higher power. Thank you!!!!๐๐ป๐ซถ

Oh my I could talk about this for an hour at least! I sleep better. My mind doesnโt race much and when it does o know how to refocus. I remember suggestions given during yoga nidra practice and implement them almost without thinking now. Yoga Nidra and Yoga in general has changed my life for the better. It is part of my daily โhygieneโ practice! Thanks Ally! You are a gem ๐

Before your videos I had chronic insomnia and woke in a panic every morning. I desperately searched for help for years. Itโs been incredible to me that the loving presence you share through these videos and the gentle invitation to give that to myself has made such a reliable and deep difference. Looking forward to the peace the coming years of practice will bring!

I found your channel when I was diagnosed with PTSD 3/4 years ago and it has helped me in my recovery immensely. I was continually in fight or flight mode, having terrible nightmares and felt so isolated. I used that time for intense self development and healing by practicing 3 times a day. Gratitude in the morning, vagus nerve reset in the afternoon (with a nap) and night time videos helped me through the darkest times. I also have undiagnosed ADHD and Yoga Nidra has been perfect for regulating my emotions. I recently spent two weeks in hospital with my IBD and I can't tell you how much your middle of the night vids helped me during my stay. I recommend your channel to everyone I know! You are a blessing and I hope to attend one of your retreats in the not too distant future! Thank you for all that you do ๐

I had anxiety/depression most my life. Many traumas. The last was the end of a 30 yr marriage. That was 6 yrs ago. Around that time I found meditation and your channel. I even donโt remember how most of my life there was not much peace. Forever grateful for what yoga nidra has done for me. Physically and mentally. Thank you๐Namast

Very simple. Complete relaxation. Almost as if floating without water. And deep sleep in other circumstances. Thank you for your guidance. ๐๐

My husband of 19 years was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at age 49. After his passing Yoga Nidra for sleep was the only way I could fall asleep for almost 2 full years. Your voice has become a safe place for me and quite literally saved me during my darkest time. I had a 14 year old daughter who needed me at the best I could offer and Yoga Nidra was key for that. Thank you.

I healed my insomnia. It had been with me forever. But yoga nidra really helps me to sleep past and stop my racing mind. I also connected with natures deeply. Your meditation is the best.

I hear from those of you with PTSD all of the time how Yoga Nidra practice has improved your lives. I would LOVE to hear some of those stories and what you have noticed specifically? What symptoms feel more manageable? In what ways do you feel more calm or stable in the face of challenges or triggers? Yoga Nidra has been a huge part of my healing from the childhood trauma of a house fire, and I love hearing about how itโs helped others too โค๏ธ๐๐ผ
