Which player faced the toughest competition during their era?

@OMGitsTerasu

If not Kobe, LeBron. MJ played people who day-lit as security guards and school teachers. Kobe played with the most HOF imo. LeBron played with the most skilled (skilled doesn't mean automatic HOF).

This is how you know the Jordan and Lebron fanbases are out of control. Objectively, this should go to Kobe. MJ and Bron were both played a majority of their years in the east, which historically on all levels has been the weaker conference. Kobe was the best player in the league in his era and didn’t make even the conference finals some years because the west is tough like that.

If we going by competition at position it’s 1: Kobe(ai, tmac, Vince, wade) 2: Lebron( kd, kawhi, melo, Paul George) 3: MJ(Reggie, Clyde, Richmond?, the Glove) Some of yall are prob wondering why I have Kobe’s era over LeBrons, as lebrons era def has players that are higher on the top 75 list. Main reason why is because players like tmac, Vince, and wade in their primes were essentially as good as Kobe, so Kobe had some exceptionally hard matchups, while lebrons comp was really only KD as Kawhi was only as good as Lebron in 2017 but he got injured so that ruined that quick, and Melo and Paul George really aren’t comparable to the primes of Vince and tmac. Also, MJ’s matchups being this bad kinda surprised me😂 his hardest was prob Clyde and even then he’s really not even close to the matchups that Bron and Kobe ha

Crazy kobe is last. Id say he easily faced the most comp. Way tougher in conference than Lebron obviously, and edges out Jordan too. And his finals comp was mostly respectable with Celtics, Pistons and Magic.
