📖🕯️ The next page smells faintly of smoke and rain. Like something once beautiful that’s been burned and buried.
The ink here is jagged, carved more than written. The letters cut into the parchment like someone desperate to be remembered.
You can almost hear the creak of old wood, the whisper of wind through a hollow house, and beneath it all. A low laugh, cruel and knowing.
“Do not covet what the Hollow keeps,” the words seem to hiss. “The debt will always find you.”
Chapter 14: HEX of the Hollow HXME 🕸️
In a forgotten valley wrapped in mist, a greedy man arrives with gold in his hands and pride in his heart. He sees the widow’s house. Ancient, crooked, and alive and claims it as his own. The widow warns him to leave it be. Her daughters, silent and watchful, trace sigils in the air as he laughs in their faces.
But the Hollow listens.
From the moment he crosses the threshold, the house begins to feed. His luck turns to rot. His riches melt away like wax. Shadows twist his reflection into something monstrous, and every whisper in the walls speaks his name... backwards.
By the time he begs for mercy, the witches have vanished, leaving only the echo of their curse: “All that’s taken will be taken back.”
Now the man wanders the Hollow HXME, no longer rich, no longer living. Just another voice in the wind warning those who come too close.
“HEX of the Hollow HXME” is a grim tale of greed, guilt, and the price of defying the damned. A story where the house always collects what it’s owed.
