Sorry about those horrible language dubs on my videos. Youtube just auto enabled it for my last few videos but I FINALLY found the setting that lets me turn those off. All is good now 👍

(Edit: this refers to the AI audio dubs that folks don't like, the subtitles and captions are still available)

Actually, I went on to watch a portuguese video, I am brazillian, and YouTube translated the titles and the audio. I was quite surprised at the quality of the dub. It was considerably faithful to the original. Of course, I turned it off since I do speak the language, but I can see a lot of potential for this!

I didn't even know there's that feature. Now I'm curious to hear them.😊

Tbh; auto dubs are better than none for people with hearing disabilities or other problems understanding the spoken language. It can always be disabled in the user settings if they don’t want it.

Oh boy. The sub vs dub fight in anime circles has come to live YT content. 🤣

They were not that bad for me. I was wondering how can I get that on my channel. Or it is only for big channels?

Hi, german here. Sometimes YouTube will also translate the title of YouTube Videos and I cannot stress enough how important it is to turn this off. Because for some reason the title will sound more like a scam in German. If you for example post a video like “how to become an artist in 2025” or something like that it will probably translate to something like “wie Sie in 2025 Künstler werden” and any German will agree that this just sounds off in their head. Can’t really explain why tho.

I thought it was a great idea for foreign users. I was surprised I was hearing a spanish dub and thought you were hiring someone to translate it. A lot of folks here in latin america are finally getting into the portable drawing ecosystem but there arent many channels in spanish that explore specialized drawing hardware and software as easy to consume as you do and I always link your channel to them. But sadly not many handle english very well.
