BELIEVING IN PEOPLE IS ALWAYS WORTH IT

The biggest reason I win and the biggest reason I lose is because I believe anyone can do anything.

That belief is what pushes me.

It’s what makes me get up every day knowing there’s no excuse not to execute.

If I believe anyone can do it…

…then I sure as fuck better prove I can too.

It keeps me humble.

It keeps me hungry.

It keeps me locked in on the fact that greatness isn’t reserved for a chosen few … it’s available to whoever’s willing to suffer for it.

That belief is my weapon.

It drives me.

It gives my urgency.

It makes me look at the scoreboard and know there’s no reason to settle for less.

…but it’s also what burns me.

Because I don’t just believe I can do anything.

I believe you can, too.

I believe everyone can.

…and that belief has made me overestimate people sometimes.

It’s made me trust too much.

It’s made me give chances to people who weren’t ready.

Who weren’t serious…

Who weren’t willing to pay the price…

…and that’s the reality: believing anyone can do anything doesn’t mean everyone will.

Some people won’t show up.

Some people won’t endure the pain.

Some people won’t keep promises to themselves.

Some people won’t sacrifice long enoughto earn the result.

Some people just don’t give a shit.

However … for every one that lets you down, there are ten who rise higher than even they imagined.

For every failure, there’s ten who make the belief worth it.

…and that’s why I’ll never stop betting on people.

Because the truth is the world only changes

when somebody believes in people enough

to light a fire under them.

That’s why I win.

…and if sometimes I lose because of it?

So be it.

The return is tenfold.

The payoff is undeniable.

It’s worth it every single time.

That little bit of belief you show someone could be the thing that ignites them changing their entire bloodline.

Your Real Talk video “Missed your New Year’s resolution? Now what?” Completely changed my life. It certainly lit a fire. It brought tears of relief to my eyes because it was the first time someone was truly honest with me on how bad I was fucking up. I was everything being described and more. So i listened to it 10x a day for almost week. Stopped drinking, completed 75 hard, nearly tripled my income, bought my first home, got married, and still building.

I’ve been having this conversation with my partner recently, about believing in people and what they can be capable of rather than focusing on the negatives and neglecting to cultivate their strengths into success. In my experience, I’ve found that even the perceived weakest link has strengths, they just need to be led along a bit to find what those strengths are. Whether or not they choose to grow their skills is their own choice. We have to at least give them the chance.

Man its not easy to get people to believe like you do. I struggle with it to the point my circle is just me. Ive cut off everyone because they are too locked on the hamster wheel and i cant have them around me anymore.
