I had an 02 KLR and I loved it until I got a new job and had to commute 65km each way. Then I hated it. It shook me to my core. That being said, of the 16 bikes that I have owned over time it is the one that I am most likely to own again. I am looking forward to hearing your impressions.

Canāt wait to hear your thoughts! I used to own a first gen that served me well. Very curious if I would be happy on one of the later gens, considering the heavier weights off-road, but that big fairing certainly appeals to the commuter in me.

This is interesting I have a Dr650 and have ordered a Rally to replace it so of corse the KLR got a look in but it seems like itās Heavy , old and underpowered and the āupgradesā are just the absolute bare minimum for compliance. Itās not as light or agile as a Rally or as fun as a T7 or is it the best of both worlds canāt wait to get your valued opinion!
