We'd like to begin this post by thanking all the new patrons who joined us over the extended holiday weekend. Your support help makes our coverage possible, and we aim to offer plenty of it in the month of January.
There are a couple of points we'd like to clarify regarding invitationals. For the Hall of Fame Classic, our hope was to partner up with a live streaming outlet to provide coverage of all the games, but those talk didn't pan out. As of now, we plan to cover the girls games at the Hall of Fame Classic. The match-ups are as follows:
Minnetonka vs. Benilde-St. Margaret's, Goodhue vs. Pine City, Hopkins vs. Roseville
There are also three boys basketball games slated for that day (Hopkins vs. Andover, Austin vs. St. Francis, Lakeville North vs. Eden Prairie). If we can get enough funding through sponsors or other contributions, we'll add those games to the schedule.
On a related note, another invitational taking place is the Minnesota Fury MLK Classic at St. Catherine University in St. Paul on January 16th (girls basketball). We'll provide another update when that schedule is finalized, but participating teams include Chaska, Duluth Marshall, Eden Prairie, Holy Angels and Visitation. Invitationals are a great way to see a lot of teams in one place, but ensuring broadcast coverage for every game requires a higher degree of investment. If you or someone you know would be interested in joining our group of supporters, your name will reach an audience of nearly 13,000 subscribers and a viewership of over 100,000 per month.
Thanks for being with us as we continue our winter basketball coverage. We'll see you on the court!
