at this point it's better to ignore these people. you have proved that pebble with mag and part can extract pretty decently as long as you play him right (hitting golds only) this made me very confident with being an extractor pebble, no matter what these folks say, you know that what you're doing is okay :)

they over obsessed with the "distractor" role and took the concept of a survival team game of Qwell and flipped it upside-down, example: the astro trinket being great for extractors, it allows to run to machines more constantly, but then you have the people with the 'meta' not liking the buff because it doesnt add speed to extracting or "distracting"

Distractors weren’t even supposed to be a thing in the first place. Back in the early-ish release of Dandys world you’d see Goobs & Pebbles doing machines without any problems. In fact, they would be expected to do so just like the rest of the toons. I remember playing as goob and doing machines, If someone needed help i’d use my hugging ability and get the twisteds off them. Ppl in those lobbies saw me as a ‘hero’, not someone who contributed nothing to the team just because i wasn’t distracting. I don’t even think there was a proper term for distracting since it was pretty much nonexistent…. u would just help sometimes by occasionally getting twisteds off of others who were getting chased & was low on stamina. And guess what, toons weren’t even SUPPOSED to have an intended role anyways, everyone was just expected to do machines in order to progress through the floors quicker. Pebb only recently gained his barking ability because everyone classified him as a ‘distractor’ but im pretty sure qwel said somewhere that she didn’t even intend for distractors to be a thing. People were actually independent and u would get up to like floor 15 on average (more or less) in a public lobby. NOT FLOOR 2 😭

This LITERALLY proves their skills in Dandy's World. Trust me you do not need always a distractor, they just make the game "easier". If can't survive at least 10 floors without a distractor thats your skill issue.
