This song is a meaningful one. It came from a very special conversation & moment with our friends Jonathan & Melissa Helser. It’s written from scripture 2 Timothy 1:7 ... "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind."
Though we might not be spared from sadness or grief in this life, the God of the universe is with us through it all. He's given us the GIFT of a Sound Mind as opposed to a spirit of fear. This song is a reminder of that simple truth.. a reminder of the promise we receive through Jesus!!
