Dan Davis History

SCAM ALERT: This is NOT me.

I'm sure most people are wise to these imposter impersonator YouTube account scammers by now, as they crop up on most channels. But to be clear, this is not me, I do not have a "Live" account, and I will never solicit crypto investments in the comments.

I have reported and banned them but they tend to come back so please be aware.

@KenRichardson-xn9xd

Crypto was very popular in pre-history. In fact Yamnaya nomads peddled them across the steppe all the way to Scotland….that’s what I heard on an infomercial!

@westrim

Congratulations on getting big enough for the scammers to mimic!

Wait, you mean the Hallstatt culture didn’t leave bitcoins as grave goods for honored warriors?

@BruceTutty

I thought it was selling crypts.

YouTube could block these people and delete their accounts immediately, but don't. I sometimes wonder if they're in on the scam.

I sensed the beta male aura of the impersonator and immediately knew it couldn't be you.

I guess you’ve made it dude, also how are these things still such a problem on YouTube. It feels like those scam accounts have been around forever

Crypto... I know I've heard this before. Those little stone cylinder seals used in Mesopotamia? Must be. There's thousands upon thousands of them so quite affordable even for an amateur like myself, yet they still retain a certain air of mystery given their age.

@ShummaAwilum

One of the clearest indications that crypto is a scam is that every time a channel gets hacked the hackers only use it to spam crypto nonsense 24/7.

@lennoxshepherd3905

I feel like that should have been self evident based purely on the font.

@Fevebblefester

I continually report posts in that vein and the responses the trolls add. Talk of the never ending story…

@skaldskatan3332

Ah, I feel stupid as I thought you got hacked first before I double checked and noticed the name was different.

Currency was probably viewed as a scam in ancient times. Like what do you mean i can just trade these trinkets for cattle? Who tf wants trinkets?
