It's officially an Oblate Spheroid but it is also incredibly close to a perfect sphere relatively speaking, earth is more spherical than a Billiard ball

For all intents and purposes, it's a perfect sphere. The elongation is hardly noticeable. In fact, the earth is probably more of a perfect sphere than any sphere we've created to scale.
