About HTS, the blood moon only respawns the frost Gleock while Gannon is alive. So assuming Gannon only comes to Hyrule once every 100 years. And link defeats the evil in a couple of months, then you would only have to deal with the Gleock for a couple of months every 100 years! This is the obvious choice.

HTS all the way. Link is the pilot, so he can just get out of the plane and kill the "minor inconvenience" before the passengers leave the plane after every flight.

@Eganbur

voting for HTS because if we have modern planes we also have modern anti-aircraft defences that can effectively kill the dragon

What interests me is the transport when you get into Hyrule - specifically, how you'd route a railroad when so much of the terrain is mountainous.

The gleeok won't be a problem once Link sets up some pulse laser AA turrets. After it dies enough times, it might even flee and start respawning somewhere else. Long-term monster migration isn't unheard of; just a few years ago, the same snowfield was home to a white lynel just six years ago, after all.

@squirtlegang

HTS works great once Ganon is dead

@agentspatula

i mean, the gleok IS a minor inconvenience...

@omegagamer5830

To be fair... the blood moon only really happens because of the minor Ganon issue... so just fix that and we are good to go with HTS

@omegaearwax

now hear me out how much damage would a plane do?

My argument for HTS is that to even begin construction of the airport, you would probably have to have the Gleeok situation (is crazy) sorted in the first place. I doubt that you could finish construction on the runway, terminal, etc. while the Gleeok is still a long term issue. Of course, I don't have the solution for it, but I'm sure Purah could come up with some bullshit. Anyway, great video! I love thinking about fictional worlds in esoteric, "realistic" ways.

I was thinking GDA but the nearest town is women only. What’s the plan there for half the population? Put em in the desert? tbh I like the big staircase idea. Or just. Put the terminal on a terrace on the cliff and build an elevator or something. Link’s smart he can figure it out probably

I think, no matter which of these options you pick, there should be an outpost airport built somewhere outside of Hyrule's borders for planes to land at temporarily in the event that the main Hyrule airport becomes unsafe to land at... I do like the idea of ships instead though.

@jovi_al01

HTS is by far the best, and i'm surprised you didn't mention that the air being hot makes it almost impossible for planes to take off. also ending the video with "TEEHEE" was fucking diabolical. i see you, silly british man

@pugilism

mount agaat minimally impacts any existing settlements, offers a great thrill-seeking adventure destination without the certain death of tabantha, and karmically punishes everyone involved for wanting to build an airport in the first place. plus you get to build a cool tower, which everyone loves

@bakubread

HTS is objectively the best choice here, because if Zelda is around to plan an airport then that means Ganondorf has already been dealt with, and thus there are no more monsters, or at the very least no more blood moons. (This isn't ever directly stated, but it is very heavily implied that Ganon(dorf) is the one that manifests the monsters. Gleeoks specifically didn't even exist in BotW, so we can infer that at the very least THOSE are a direct result of Ganondorf's awakening, and wouldn't stick around after his death. Even if we say that Bokoblins and Moblins, Lizalfos, etc. might still be around since they also seemed to exist prior to Ganon's awakening in the BotW memories).

@PraetorPaktu

HTS is the best one. Just deploy a few fighter jets that are on station.

@Hadehaze

HTS is absolutely the best option, link being on standby plus we can probably train a specific gleeok team to at least keep it at bay. Gerudo works too a bit, tho I wonder if we could get better spacing by moving it closer to the sea?
