Spanish With Nate

Hi! I'll be honest. I've been feeling a little lost. I have no idea what videos to make. What would you personally enjoy watching from me? Te quiero mucho!

@ChiRhoBro

I like the local interactions. Chatting at the stands or supermarkets. Things I could learn from when interacting with my local Spanish community

@drinkumbrella

The best parts of your videos are where you’re sharing something you’re excited about - a place, a song, a teacher, some food. What are you excited about right now? (Or maybe you’ve hit a plateau learning Chinese and could explore that. Obviously conjecture, but how you deal with that could be useful for other language learners.)

I think other commenters hit the nail on the head. I enjoy your interactions with the public especially seeing reactions of people who don't expect that level of Spanish from an American. You're an inspiration for many of us to learn or keep learning Spanish. You reignited my passion for learning the language.

My favorite video of yours are your story times, interacting with different people with Spanish in public, and I would like to see some tips on how to improve your Spanish past the intermediate level along with some videos related to starting your own business/channel. I think the Omegle videos are entertaining, but it seems like you have the most fun when you go out in public or are trying something new and I think that’s when your best quality content shines through! You’re doing amazing Nate!

I agree on the Spanish in public videos. I enjoy just hearing real-life conversations in Spanish with the subtitles. Whether you’re ordering food or doing something else. Doesn’t have to be a “see their reaction video” either.

Real life stuff similar to xiaoma, but just about spanish. i really love the videos you did with the tacos on the side of the road and going into the ice cream shops. i found myself going back and watching those videos multiple times. it’s less about “woah this gringo speaks spanish?!” and more about how much easier it becomes to connect with someone you normally wouldn’t be able to! there’s and instant “oh this person knows a big piece of my culture.” it’s very nice to see how happy it makes people!

@vamanos9522

We’ve been looking for a good channel where someone speaks in Spanish at a pace we can understand with subtitles, doing something interesting. Some of you videos are like that, so I vote for more.

@alioth7403

Do videos where you go about life in LA speaking only Spanish to people. Like in stores and public places, even if the people are not Hispanic. Never switch to English. Let's see how people react.

@cayden-

i don’t know if you want to go more in this direction, but IRL videos are nice for me since i can hear more nuances and phrases from natives that i wouldn’t hear otherwise but i appreciate any content at the end of the day!

If you’re planning to travel more, go to Puerto Rico and practice Spanish there and vlog your experience there !

1/ Interview other Spanish people about specific topics. 2/ Street videos interacting with Spanish speakers -great way to show everyday phrases. 3/ Travel vlogs are always popular 4/ Educational videos in Spanish where you explain various at different levels.

There are content creators that do "I boxed for 30 days in Mexico" boxing huge in Mexico and of course in u.s. latin neighborhood. With your background and experience with Mexican culture I think even as beginner in boxing you could bring a cool perspective.. just a thought 😊 love the channel

I really like the Spanish in public, and the Omegle ones a lot

I would like to see more public interactions. Like at stores or on the streets.

You could make videos about rare dialects of Spanish such as those from Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado and Texas. Dialects that are almost gone but still exist in the Southwest United States!!

I like to see conversations with native speakers about economics or sports or travel

Let's hear how you make sense of, and learn, the subjunctive tense!

I would like to see vlogs of you living your life but in Spanish, little to no English just pure Spanish. Keep it up man! Saludos❤️

Can you please do a Spanish slang video??? I feel like I miss a lot of conversations because there's a lot of slang, colloquialisms, idioms, etc that I just don't know! You can do different slang by country!
