Primal Space

It has been one week since singer Katy Perry launched into space on Blue Origin πŸš€ Though widely criticized, it has left me wondering: Would you have joined the trip if given the chance? Hands up in the comments if you wouldn't have missed it πŸ™‹πŸΌπŸ™‹πŸΌ

@gverran

I would jump at the opportunity to go to space like what she did, but I will not accept being granted the title of being an astronaut. That title is reserved for those who undergo extensive training and actually going to space for more than a few minutes. Space tourists should not become astronauts!

@JustSomeKittenwithaGun

I feel like being in a group with celebrities would ruin what should be an out of this world experience

@iridescentsquids

I would go, but only if on a different launch. It’s Tough to imagine the profound moment not being too painfully wrecked if I had to put up with Perry and accompanying media circus.

@Steph_Engelb

I was a passenger on a plane once or twice, does that make me a Pilot?

@ArtsyAndWhimsy

I'd love to go to space but not as a tourist but as an astronaut

They did not go into space.

@KoreHuman

I would definitely go but I would never disrespect astronauts by claiming that I am one.

I would like to do longer duration missions. Like orbital and possibly lunar missions

@Jon-n9w6b

I'd love to go but if I went with that crew I would have opened the door as soon as we made it into space

It's a shame they didn't go on a Boeing product.

@wedot1

I would in 0.1 seconds

I think the problem most people had was with their marketing. Not necessarily them going themselves. Blue Origin calling them the first all female crew and calling them astronauts is just ridiculous.

@Julie-ix

Even though I'm highly interested in space and wish to learn more about our galaxies and unknown planets beyond a telescopes range I would literally pee my pants and have a heart attack if I ever went up into space 😭

I would never give my money to a billionaire who fires his workers because they need to use the bathroom at work.

@DemnRaig80

Sure, if there was something actually significant about the mission.
